MAXI/GSC detected a transient bright source from the position at (R.A., Dec.) = (277.237, -10.753) = (18 28 57, -10 45 11)(J2000) with a systematic uncertainty of 0.2 deg. The source has been detected since the scan transit at 2011-11-12T08:41 (UT), at which the source flux is about 0.26+-0.03 Crab in the 4-10 keV band. It is possible that the activity started between this and the previous scan transit at 2011-11-12T07:09.
