The dwarf nova OY Car has recently been found to be an eclipsing binary with a period of 91 min. Spectra were obtained around two cycles of the binary period with 2-A resolution. The spectra show broad doubled Balmer and He I lines with a deep central absorption and are very similar to those of the other short period eclipsing dwarf nova Z Cha. Radial velocity amplitude was approximately 125 km/s. A preliminary analysis of the binary structure results in component masses of approximately 0.4 and 0.14 solar masses. It should be possible to refine this analysis when more detailed photometric data are available
