Simultaneous photoelectric radial velocities and BVI photometry are presented for delta Scuti. From the observed phase differences between the light and color variations it is deduced that the principal variation is a radial pulsation, while the secondary variation is due to a quadrupole oscillation. The radius of delta Scuti is estimated, using a modified Wesselink technique applied to both oscillation modes.
