Results are presented from observations of the eclipsing binaries Algol, Beta Lyrae, and W Serpentis. New uvby and H-alpha index light curves of W Ser are presented. Results from high-reoslution H-alpha spectroscopy and IUE satellite data show hot gas around the Algol BBV primary. Analysis of multibandpass photoelectric photometry of Beta Lyrae shows that systematic changes in light curves occur with a characteristic period of about 275 + or - 25 days.
