We present photographic and spectroscopic investigations carried out on the nebulae V-V1-4= Sh2-27l, Sh2-266, NGC 1985, NGC 6765 and M2-55. Although these nebulae are contained in the Catalogue of Galactic Planetary Nebulae of Perek and Kohoutek (1967), our results indicate that only NGC 6765 and M2-55 are genuine Planetary Nebulae, whereas V-V1-4 is a low excitation H II region, NGC 1985 is a reflection nebula and Sh2-266 is a low excitation nebula ejected and excited by a peculiar star.
