The branch of photon astronomy most directly related to cosmic rays is gamma ray astronomy. Related one-step processes are reviewed, such as supernova shock waves, pulsar strong wave acceleration, and pulsar unipolar inductor mechanism. In addition, related statistical processes are discussed such as Fermi mechanism, stochastic electromagnetic acceleration, and plasma turbulent reactors.
