Averaged values of continuum limb-darkening coefficients for the quiet solar disk are presented which are more reliable than each individual series used in the averaging. These values cover practically the entire spectrum of photospheric emission from 1480 A to 20 microns, including the emission region of the minimum-temperature layer. The data relate to distances of 0.005 to 1 solar radius for almost the entire spectral range covered, and results over the spectral region from 4000 to 7000 A are given for the limb itself. The accuracy of the values obtained is estimated; the rms error is shown not to exceed 1% to 2% for most wavelengths and seeing angles.
