Employing the equivalent lines-widths in stars 06-B5 determined by E. G. Williams, the number of H and He atoms in the stellar atmosphere is here calculated. The results are compared with those obtained by others authors who employed the Unsöld's method. The eventual disagreements in the results given by the various sources are analysed. The relative abundance of H/He is determined, using two differents methods; that is employing the total number of He atoms determined essentially with the indications given by the singulet series 2¹P - u³D; and by the direct comparison of the intensity of the two pairs of lines, Hγ and 4471, and Hβ and 4026, that is employing two lines of the 2³P - u³D series. the dependence of this value upon the luminosity is derived from the examination of 29 stars. A value of log H/He = 0.4 for the supergiants and 1.0 for the dwarfs is found. Thus the Unsöld's results for 18 stars studied by him by means of the Williams' measures are strengthened.
