The dissociation energy and ionization potential of 97 diatomic molecules, molecular ions, and radicals according to their molecular weight have been listed in tabular form. Some interesting plots of the dissociation energy vs molecular weight, dissociation energy vs total atomic number, and dissociation energy vs atomic number differences for respective molecules have also been enumerated. Thirty-one new diatomic molecules/molecular ions/radicals of astrophysical significance have also been listed on the basis of theoretical grounds.
