The extragalactic data base of 58,500 objects, compiled by the Observatoire de Lyon, was used to plot all galaxies in Flamsteed's equal area projection. The projection clearly showed a large structure appearing as a kind of 'Milky Way' of galaxy clusters. This structure defines a plane which is slightly different from the supergalactic plane. The pole of this plane was found to be positioned at l = 50 deg, b = 35 deg, a revision from the values of l = 53 deg, b = 22 deg published previously by Bottinelli et al. (1986). The direction of the 3K dipole vector is not far from this hypergalactic plane.
