A variant of the sporadic flux determination theory, based on reasoning common to both the shower and sporadic flux definition, is developed. This determination also requires the knowledge of sporadic radiants and of the velocity distribution function. It is constructed from Jacchia's and Whipple's photographic data and Ceplecha's material on the meteor percentage in various groups. The effective flux coming from the solid angle 2π and integrated over the whole observational period is defined and then determined for the sporadic activity in Nov. 1974 and in Oct. to Nov. 1977.
