Radiation transfer in the photosphere of magnetic degenerate stars is considered and radiation pressure force is calculated. Star parameters are determined for which the photospheric plasma ejection under the cyclotron line radiation pressure is possible. Mass flux of the matter swept up into the star magnetosphere is estimated. Types of magnetic degenerate stars the mass loss of which is determined by the photospheric cyclotron line radiation pressure are pointed out.
