Scientific paper

The paper presents results obtained from the observation of six flat spectrum radio sources chosen from the MPIfR north pole radio survey at 5 GHz. The sources were observed at radio, millimeter, optical, and X-ray wavelengths. There is evidence for collimated knots in the X-ray emission over scales of 20 to 40 arcmin in the fields of three of the sources. Thermal bremsstrahlung by hot gas may be an explanation for the emission of the collimated X-ray knots.
