Microtektites from the Australasian and Ivory Coast strewn fields (SF)
show low values of the Fe^3^+/Fe_t_o_t ratio, comparable to tektites
from the same SF. In contrast, microtektites from the North American SF
show a wider range (from 0 to 0.75).
