UBVR photoelectric photometry is presented for bright early-type galaxies in clusters. The sample is comprised of 26 first ranked cluster members, 14 fainter cluster members, and two field galaxies. The colors of first ranked galaxies in clusters appear to be independent of cluster morphology. A color difference as large as 0.1 mag in U-B between cD and normal first ranked cluster galaxies can be ruled out on the basis of the present data at the 5 σ level.
