The structural parameters of tidally distorted polytropes
(Chandrasekhar, 1933) are calculated numerically, employing the method
developed by Monaghan and Roxburgh (1965) for rotating polytropes. The
results for index (n) values 1.5, 2.0, and 3.0 are presented in tables
and compared to those for the Roche problem.
