With the rapid advancement of large, all-sky survey programs, significant samples of stellar populations are available to explore the bulk properties of the stellar halo, including the spatial distribution. Miceli et al. (2007) has presented evidence for at least two distinct accretion processes using 838 ab-type RR Lyrae stars from the Lowell Observatory Near Earth Objects Survey Phase I (LONEOS-I). The period-amplitude distribution of this sample shows that the majority of these RR Lyrae stars resemble Oosterhoff type I, but there is a significant fraction (26%) which have longer periods and appear to be Oosterhoff type II. Radial distributions of these two populations have significantly different profiles, (OoI) R^(-2.26+/-0.07) and (OoII) R^(-2.88+/-0.11). While the LONEOS-I sample covers 1430 sq. deg. and span distances ranging from 3-30 kpc from the Galactic Center, the addition of the LONEOS-II camera data provides more than 20,000 sq. deg. out to 50 kpc, an incredible sample improvement for also investigating spatial variations. We will summarize current results from ongoing follow-up spectroscopic and photometric programs to further characterize the LONEOS-I sample, report on preliminary results from the LONEOS-II dataset, and compare to recent results of Carollo et al. (2007) with blue horizontal-branch stars from the SDSS.
