On June, 2002, Marvin Baldwin, chairman of the American Association of Variable Star Observers (AAVSO) RR Lyrae Committee, suggested to observe few variable stars recently discovered during the ROTSE project all-sky survey. The selected star was GSC 3087 2079 whose variability was confirmed using the data gathered by the authors during the 2002 summer. In this article we assign the variable to the RR Lyr c class, and invite the interested observers to collect further data.
