Recently, Spitzer/IRAC has emerged as an important tool in the study of high-redshift galaxies. At z = 3 - 7, IRAC samples the rest-frame optical to near-IR light from the galaxies, allowing for better constraints on the masses and ages of their stellar populations. IRAC observations of Lyman-alpha emitting galaxies (LAEs) at z = 5.7 and 6.6 reveal that some IRAC-detected LAEs harbor possibly massive and evolved stellar populations, with masses around 10^10 Msun and ages around a hundred million years. On the other hand, stacking analysis shows that IRAC-undetected LAEs at z = 3.1 are in general younger and less massive. Our study suggests that LAEs is a diverse population, consisting of both evolved galaxies and galaxies that may be
undergoing their first burst of star formation.
