It is shown that data analysis procedures for antennas with nonresonant transducers can be applied to a single mode of gravitational wave antennas (GWA) with resonant transducers. The signal to noise ratio is reduced by a factor of two, since by selecting only one Fourier component of the resonant transducer signal one half of the signal power is discarded. The factor of two can be recovered by using a second electronic line which selects the other Fourier component and then by combining together the four output quantities, i.e., the in phase and the in quadrature components. With this method, GWA's could be used to detect supernovae in the Virgo cluster.
