We have undertaken a 5 GHz snapshot survey of a sample of 161 flat-spectrum radio sources stronger than 50 mJy at 4.85 GHz, selected from the 87GB and FIRST catalogs. The survey was limited to 29° < δ < 34° (and also in right ascension) as one of the aims was to compile a complete sample of relatively weak sources for VSOP observations with the HALCA satellite and the Arecibo telescope.
