The continuous spectra of three emission-line stars with infrared excess (MWC 342, MWC 643, and HD 51585) are obtained in the wavelength region of 3300-7560 A with approximately 48 A resolution in order to separate the spectra into components. Comparison of the spectral energy distribution obtained for HD 51585 against earlier observations is found to show that the volume, as well as the density, of its gaseous envelope has been increasing. The spectra of MWC 342 and MWC 643 are found to show excess radiation at wavelengths greater than 4000 A after being corrected for interstellar extinction. The good agreement with type M0 III and M1 III spectra indicates that these objects may be binary systems with cool components.
