The types of compressing mechanisms needed to produce a star-forming process were investigated in the Orion region, where the stars are very young. It was determined that the stars in this region began to be formed by different triggering mechanisms. The characteristics of the distribution of stars in the different Orion regions were examined in order to determine which mechanism was dominant. Since the age of the stars in the Orion Nebula ranges from 10 to the 4th to 3 x 10 to the 7th years and the stellar components in regions in the Barnard Loop and outside the Loop are different, it was concluded that three types of triggering mechanisms are at work in the Orion region.
