The X-ray observations Her X-1 include the temporal and energy dependence of spectral features both continuum and line, during the pulse phase, binary phase and the 35 day ON-OFF cycle. The observations of the X-ray intensity and spectral features of the source during mid on 35 is also of considerable interest since it provides further constraints for the geometrical models of the X-ray source. There is no consistent model for the 35 day cyclic variation of the X-ray intensity. Also, little data is available about the variable nature of the emission feature. Two observations separated by a year in 1980 and 1981 were carried out during the mid on phase of Her X-1, by using xenon filled multiwire proportional chambers. The time averaged spectral results of Her X-1 in the 15-150 keV energy range are presented. The possible case of the line centroid variability seen during 1980 experiment is also discussed.
