The analysis of properties of OH megamaser galaxies is presented. Using luminosity function of the luminous infrared galaxies, as well as linear relationship between OH and FIR luminosities the expected number of OH megamaser galaxies has been estimated. Spectral energy distributions (SED) of 16 megamaser galaxies have been constructed and investigated using multifrequency (from radio to X-ray) data. The SED of megamasers look closely similar at radio to X-ray. There is significant emission around 3 micron which may be due to red giants and supergiants of these galaxies. The possible causes which may deviate the slope of the relation LOH ≡ LFIR from unity are discussed. The suggestion that in megamaser galaxies the collisional pump for the inversion of main lines of OH and saturated amplifying may play an important role is confirmed.
