The IRAC Dark Field is a relatively wide area of sky near the north ecliptic pole that is imaged very deeply every few weeks by the Spitzer Space Telescope from 3.6 to 8 microns. With tens of thousands of objects and reaching a Vega L-band magnitude of 21.5, the field opens a new window on variability and transient studies in the mid-IR. We show preliminary results of searching for transient and variable objects, along with additional data from the other Great Observatories and from ground-based imaging which reveal the nature of the underlying host objects.
