The science objectives defined by the LWS Sentinels STDT will require an unprecedented cooperation of interdisciplinary observations and models. Solar remote sensing observations from Earth and from the solar far side will have to be coregistered with multi-point inner heliospheric and near-Earth in-situ measurements. This coregistration will have to be context driven as high energy particles will travel from the Sun to the in-situ observers in matters of minutes while the underlying ambient solar wind and transients will take days. This effort will naturally depend strongly on global heliospheric model outputs while the very models that are used for context determination will be tested and continually improved. Therefore, it is essential to develop a heliophysical data environment where models can be driven by a wide range of input data sets and where various competing models can be readily substituted for each other to facilitate validation. The detailed data environment requirements of the Sentinels mission will be discussed based on the STDT's deliberations.
