We have observed the localization of the Integral transient IGR J00291+5934 (ATEL #352) with the Robotic Palomar 60-inch Telescope, in seven 120-s R-band exposures extending from 05:59 to 06:15 UT on 4 December 2004. Comparison of our images to the Digitized Sky Survey reveals the presence of a single new, bright, stationary, point-like object within the localization region, at coordinates RA 00:29:03.06, Dec +59:34:19.0 (J2000), with estimated coordinate uncertainty of less than 0.5".
