We propose to observe the X-ray cavity cluster RBS797, in which radio emission is seen on three different scales and orientations and a massive starburst is found at its center. With the requested observation we aim to: 1) determine the global properties of the cluster (temperature, mass, luminosity) and assess its conformity to scaling relations in order to investigate the potential impact of AGN feedback; 2) compare cooling rate or limits with the star formation rate; 3) investigate the nature of the large-scale radio emission by using the X-ray properties as input to test the electron reacceleration model for the origin of radio mini-halos; 4) study the ICM enrichment process by means of a metallicity map.
