The problem of generation of the magnetic field in pulsars has been considered. It has been shown that the currents of the protons connected with the rotating neutrons produce a mean magnetic field of 1013 Gs. This field inside the star has a vortical structure, the density of which is about 3×1019 cm-2. The magnetic moment of about 1031 Gs cm3 is produced by an almost homogeneous magnetic field.
