At 04:20 UT on August 13th, 2011, Swift began a target-of-opportunity observation of Swift J1922.7-1716, a transient reported to be in outburst by MAXI (Nakahira et al., ATEL #3548). Analyzing ~1ks of XRT data, we find the source is strongly detected at ~3.5 XRT counts/s. This corresponds to a flux of 1.2 ± 0.6 x 10-10 erg/s/cm-2 (0.3 - 10 keV, uncorrected for absorption).
