The objective is to estimate the dimensions of a minor molecular cloud and to evaluate the cloud extinction by means of a reddening in the cloud. Detailed ubvy-beta observations of all B, A, and F stars brighter than approximately 11.5 mag are made in two regions. One area, SA 128, is at intermediate galactic latitude (b approximately 46 deg); the other, SA 156, is at a low latitude (b approximately 13 deg). It is noted that SA 156 contains the PKS 1622-29 direction, where detailed radio observations are available. In the two areas (SA 128 and SA 156) uvby-beta data are obtained for 64 and 131 stars, respectively.
