A theory is proposed for Phoebe, based on a literal solution obtained for the main problem of lunar theory. The case of Phoebe may be considered simpler than a lunar case, since a precision of only 0.1 arcsec is sought despite the greater eccentricity of Phoebe. The series presented were computed by solving functions of the elliptic elements by successive approximations, where the Lagrange equations are expressed in variables. A numerical integration is adjusted to over 100 observations for the period 1900-1957, and the series of the main problem is compared to a numerical integration of the Keplerian problem.
