Ultraviolet Photography, Venus, Amateur Observations
Scientific paper
Although substantial knowledge of the atmosphere of Venus has been obtained from various space probes there is still room for earthbound observations. The well established technique of ultraviolet photography which has given much information during the past 70 years can almost certainly be improved upon with modern films and enhanced processing. It is suggested that a programme of UV photographic observations carried out during the 1994 eastern elongation could yield useful results.
