Observations made with the Green Bank radio interferometer during the period October 1, 1979 through February 3, 1980 were analyzed for the purpose of obtaining a set of very precise coordinates for 16 compact radio sources. The effects of the ionosphere have been removed from the data through the use of dual-frequency observations. Corrections for tropospheric effects were calculated from a standard model atmosphere. For sources with delta greater than 10 deg, the positions derived from the observations have an internal precision of about 0.01 arcsec. Agreement among this and similar catalogs of source positions is at the 0.03 arcsec level. A discussion of the effects of source structure on source position is presented.
