It is shown that some lines in the soft X-ray or far UV region in Her X-1 can be predicted if the electron anomalous magnetic moment is taken into account. These lines are produced by the spin flipover of electrons near the Landau energy levels in a magnetic field with a value of 67 eV if nonrelativistic and a value of several hundred eV if relativistic. A calculation of intensity shows that, allowing for coherency, these lines may be observable.
