The effect of heavy nuclei accelerated in solar flares, especially 56Fe, on the neutron production and 2.2 MeV line generation is considered. When 56Fe nuclei abundance increases by about 30 times, the neutron yield can be increased by an order of magnitude. The precision of proton spectrum determination using the 2.2 and 4.4 MeV gamma-ray line intensities ratio is analyzed. It is shown that, when the heavy nuclei abundance is large, the ratio is independent of the spectrum parameter.
