Two new methods for detection of hot ionized gas in globular clusters are proposed: (1) measurement of the position change of a radio source due to refraction and (2) determination of hot gas concentration using the effect of the Faraday rotation of the polarization plane of the background radio source radiation. Interferometry in the decametre range is very perspective for a detection of the refraction effect. The Faraday effect is noticeable in the range λ > 2 cm. It is noted that hot gas in globular clusters may be a source of a strong IR emission at λ ≡ 10 μm and in the submillimetre range.
