Spectroscopic observations of 36 Lyncis in the H-alpha line are presented and analyzed. The observations were obtained with the coudespectrograph on the 188 cm reflector at the Okayama Astrophysical Observatory in 1983, 1984, and 1985. The 36 Lyncis observations are compared to Beta Tauri spectral data. The signal-to-noise ratios for each H-alpha profile at various points in the wavelength region are estimated. The data reveal that no definite emission features are detected in the four H-alpha lines observed in 36 Lyn with a S/N less than about 13 and no asymmetry is observed in the H-alpha line profiles.
