Observations are reported that lead to a revised orbit for the star Kpr 114 (H.R. 8629; H.D. 214810), which is a close visual binary whose duplicity was discovered by Kuiper. Radial-velocity observations show that the recent close appulse of the components of the star was not - as the published visual orbit implies - a periastron passage. A revised orbit, having twice the period and a drastically reduced eccentricity, provides a better correspondence with the observations.
