Scientific paper

Measurements of electron temperature, positive ion temperature and
splasma concentration made simultaneously by the Langmuir plate and
sspherical ion probe experiments on the Explorer 31 satellite, and by an
sincoherent scatter radar at Malvern, England, are compared. No
ssignificant systematic discrepancies are found.
