Scientific paper

Simultaneous uvby observations, 500 in each colour, of the northern
eclipsing binary V451 Ophiuchi are presented. The system is a
well-detached early-type binary with an orbit of small eccentricity
showing apsidal motion. A detailed analysis based on these light curves
is published separately.
