In our paper we identified star III-1 (shown in Fig. 2) as a possible foreground dwarf carbon star. This, however was a misidentification and the star appears to be an ordinary foreground dwarf. Our spectrum of III-1 is very similar to those of late-K and early-M dwarfs shown in Jacoby, Hunter, & Christian (1984, ApJS, 56, 257). In addition, the λ4737 C2 band is absent and the G band is much weaker than expected for a dwarf carbon star. The exact nature of III-1 is incidental to our paper, and does not alter any of our conclusions about NGC 7006.
