A large multiringed impact structure on Mercury, centered at 30.5
°N, 170.2 °E. Its official name is Caloris Planitia, which means
`plain of heat'—it was in this region that the highest surface
temperatures were recorded by the Mariner 10 probe, which imaged about
half of the structure, the other half being in shadow....
