There are 347 planetaria in Japan and more than five million visitors per year. So planetaria is just big entrance to the astronomy. Under the starry sky, the visitors feel the big universe and depth of the cosmos. Planetarium is the best place to extend astronomical knowledge to general public people. Based on the survey of the "astronomy education forum", I deal with the relationship of the planetaria and astronomical society of Japan in this article. Furthermore, I mention the example of cooperation between the planetarium and the university and the new plan of cooperation in progress.
