As a possible inner engine of gamma-ray bursts(GRB's), a black hole with an external magnetic field supported by a surrounding disk or torus is discussed. The Blandford-Znajek process where the rotational energy of the black hole can be extracted as a Poynting flux is reviewed. It is demonstrated that using a simple circuit analysis the disk power increases the effective power of the black hole-accretion disk system, although a part of disk power is dissipated into black hole entropy. We discuss also the evolutions of the black hole mass and angular momentum, taking into account the flow of accreting matter from a strongly magnetized disk using a simplified model. .
