Magnetic helicity measures structural properties of a magnetic field
such as twist, shear, linking and braiding. It is conserved in the limit
of infinite electrical conductivity. In a PLASMA with high conductivity
(magnetic Reynolds number Rm≫1) reconnection preserves magnetic
helicity to an excellent approximation....
