Twelve of the 147 globular clusters associated with our Galaxy contain a
bright (Lx#|gtrsim|#1029 W) x-ray source; many more contain dim
(Lx#|lesssim|#1028 W) x-ray sources, of which more than 40 are now
known. X-ray sources have also been detected in globular clusters of the
ANDROMEDA GALAXY M31....
