We will present new thermal observations of TNOs and Centaurs taken with the Spitzer Space Telescope. These observations are part of a new program to observe a sample of 8 Centaurs and 7 TNOs to measure their albedos and diameters. Targets observed in July of 2006 were the 3 Centaurs (73480) 2002 PN34, (55576) Amycus (formerly 2002 GB10), and 120061 (2003 CO1), and the binary TNO (65489) 2003 FX128. We will also present results for any other targets observed before the meeting.
We will also summarize the final results from the Spitzer Guaranteed Time program to measure the albedos and diameters of KBOs and Centaurs with Spitzer. That program, designed before the launch of Spitzer in August 2003 and executed over the first 2 years of the nominal mission, targeted 13 Centaurs and 31 TNOs. It resulted in high-quality data for 6 Centaurs and 6 TNOs, and useful data or upper limits for most of the sample.
