We propose to conduct observations with two configurations of the ATCA to obtain ultra-high spatial resolution observations of the brightest starforming region in the SMC. In doing so, we will isolate and quantify the contributions to the turbulent energy on spatial scales which are dominated by starformation processes. Such high resolution measurements will also enable a direct comparison of neutral HI line-emission to existing molecular observations at equivalent spatial scales.
